Sunil Pillai

Despite having a prosperous career, Sunil realized his true passion lies elsewhere. Throughout his career, he has accumulated a wealth of knowledge and experience. And he wants to share them with young students to help them identify their ideal career paths based on their interests.

From his extensive professional experience, Sunil has learned that training and coaching are crucial for any business to maximize customer satisfaction and increase employee productivity. And because of his experience mentoring and training staff members, he has a sufficient understanding of the skill sets required for a given field. He aims to inform the students about the appropriate skill sets needed for their desired career paths and to guide them accordingly to help them achieve their dreams and aspirations.

Sunil has always had a passion for helping and guiding others. He used to tutor other students in high school and assist them in earning good grades. But following an incident in college, he realized his interests and strengths. One of Sunil's projects was giving him trouble. Despite the fact that his assignment did not work correctly, he described every step in such detail that his invigilator was very impressed and gave him a good grade. As a result, Sunil became aware of his communication abilities and now utilizes them in instructing and mentoring professionals and students.

His motivation for pursuing a career in career counselling has been very personal. There was a severe lack of information about the alternative career options when he passed his board exams. A profession that matched his interests was also out of his reach because he had no one to mentor him. Due to these circumstances, he doesn't want the students to experience the same difficulties as he did. Thus, he wants to help students find careers that are in line with their interests and mentor them as they pursue those careers in his capacity as a career counsellor.

Family members and coworkers have consistently encouraged Sunil to choose a profession that involves interacting with people and guiding them. It is simpler for students to comprehend any topic clearly, thanks to the way he thoroughly explains it using examples, solid evidence, and a hands-on approach. Students begin to relate to real-world examples, making it simpler to comprehend and apply them to their own lives. Through counselling, Sunil desires to bring the students clarity regarding what they want. Then, he intends to direct them toward their objectives by coordinating them with their strengths and areas of interest.

Sunil aims to arm himself with knowledge of new courses, colleges, universities, guidance techniques, and career options recently introduced to mentor students effectively. To accomplish that, he conducts in-depth research on the most recent developments in the educational field. Additionally, he enrolls in various courses to broaden his knowledge of counselling methods and improve himself as a career counsellor.
